Taylor Kennedy was born in Nashville, Tennessee, where she grew up and graduated high school. When she was 18 she moved to Orlando, Florida and then moved on to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina where her modelling career began working in a swimsuit catalog. After her mother got ill she moved back to Tennessee to be near her and began working at Hooters.

While working there she became their spokesmodel and did numerous personal appearances for various organizations. She was in the Hooters commercial and worked for Reebok and Budweiser as a spokemodel. In 2004, after a failed tryout years early, she was featured in a Special Edition of Playboy. While still working at Hooters she became a certified Personal Trainer and opened her own training business, Fitness Physique. The business took most of her time and she ended up leaving Hooters. To follow her first love, modelling, she closed her physical training business and began modelling full time in the early 2000's.
